What a touching story. A real life story. So awesome to see that God placed you were you needed to be for this weekend AND that you were open to what was put before you. He is just so awesome like that! Praying Kathleen will be blessed beyond measure for allowing her life to be shared in this way. May God richly bless her for her willingness to share and reach others. God has big plans for her! God bless!

This is soooo encouraging. All we need to know is that HE is involved, and all will be well. Thank you, Lord for this story!

Great story, you two!

It is a difficult role to play when training for a part in our culture, especially when God is also building us for a role in eternity – they are not the same. The rewards are different, the practice is harder, and the audience is detached. But the role we play is in the center of His eye. It is as if we are the only ones who can see that so much is passing away. We think, why invest in something that is broken, and breaking even more? How can we train for this world, and prepare for His world? We did not write the script, but we know that The Writer will not, cannot take His eyes off of us. No one can play my role, no one can be my understudy. Whatever role we play here, is also part of our training for our larger role there.

Joe, Cindy & Joey, I just finished reading the book (I'm so sorry it took me so long). There are no words in the English language to describe how your book moved me. I know it sounds cliche, but I laughed, I cried... it was just amazing. What a wonderful tool for parents of special needs children, but also for those of us who volunteer, work with or simply have friendships with someone with special needs. You give incredible insight into what is really involved in cargeving 24/7, especially with the added "bonus" of raising 2 daughters and caring for your parents. I had so many favorites that I can't name them all, but I do want to thank Joey for allowing you to share his graduation comments to the party and for his very special address at the end of the book. Eye opening, touching and heart-warming. It is very inspiring to see how grounded in your faith you all are and how you tied everything back to the Bible and our Lord. Thank you from the bottom of my heart- I will be sharing this with many friends. God bless you Ferrini family!
In Christ,
Tina

That was an incredible video. What a teaching tool this video could be for our children that are constantly being bombarded with the lies of our culture about a persons value and worth.
She was very confident and it appeared she was unshaken by the audience laughing.

The waiting is the hard part. Also trying to guess how he will answer is frustrating. I have to keep in focus that our ways are not his ways.
He has proven again and again that his solution is always way better than we could ever imagine.

Cindi, Thank you for being so transparent in your blog. We all as parents have reached the end of our rope and experienced exhaustion and frustration. You are blessed to have Joe as your partner to take over when you reach that point.

God does not give just situations we can handle. God helps us handle the situation that
are given.
