1. Am I \u201ccaught up\u201d with other priorities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Cleaning<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Inside my home\/Outside my home<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • OTHER (your own list):<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Do I feel like this is something I would LOVE to spend my time doing?\u00a0\u00a0 Is it a passion?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    3. Is this the right season of my life to do\/start this? (every season has\u00a0\u00a0 its beauty)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    4. What is MOST important to me in my life? Does this blend with\u00a0\u00a0 it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    5. What am I LIVING for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    6. Am I LIVING as though what IS MOST important-is most important?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    7. Will I use my spiritual gifts? Talents?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    8. Is my home a haven that I have created or is it disorganized and a\u00a0\u00a0 hassle?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    9. Does the Holy Spirit fill me, empower me, and direct me? <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Questions to Ask Yourself about You and Your\u00a0Spouse:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Is he in COMPLETE agreement? How do I know? Does he think it\u2019s a\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cwinner\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    2. Have we prayed about it together?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    3. Will he support me:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Emotionally (how\u2026.)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Physically ( \u201c )<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Encourage\u00a0you ( \u201c )<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • With time ( \u201c )<\/strong><\/li>\n

      4. Am I meeting his needs? Completely? Would he answer as I have?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      6. Will this work\/job\/ministry\/activity enhance or hinder our relationship\u00a0\u00a0 together? Will this isolate us from each other or draw us closer\u00a0\u00a0 together?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      7. Does the Holy Spirit fill, empower, and direct our\u00a0\u00a0 relationship?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Questions to Ask Yourself about the Children (discuss with\u00a0them):<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

      1. Will I have more\/less time with them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      2. Can I still teach and train them like I want them to be taught and\u00a0\u00a0 trained? Will I have the time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          3. What will my children say about this (job, ministry, activity, etc.)\u00a0\u00a0 someday?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          4. Will this job\/activity isolate me from my children or draw me closer to\u00a0\u00a0 them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING\/STARTING A\u00a0JOB:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Have I considered the financial start up costs? (ON PAPER)<\/strong><\/p>\n

          2. Have I considered the risks to my finances, my family, my health,\u00a0\u00a0 etc.?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          3. How long will it be until I \u201cbreak even\u201d and start making\u00a0\u00a0 money?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          4. Why do I want\/need the income? Will I see it as income initially or\u00a0\u00a0 will money continue to go back into the business or to paying childcare,\u00a0\u00a0 etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          5. How much do I need to clear each month to make monthly payments we\u00a0\u00a0 have?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          6. How much time\/attention will this require? Do I have those hours in the\u00a0\u00a0 day?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          7. What will I trade\/give up to do this job? (Consider who will clean,\u00a0\u00a0 care for children, etc.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

          8. Do I have a written plan of application of goals, projected dates,\u00a0\u00a0 etc?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          9. What is my motivation, reason, pressure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          10. Am I attempting to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Meet a need in my life<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Find fulfillment<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Find\u00a0significance<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Help financially<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • OTHER<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            11. Where is God in this? (Not \u201cis He in this\u201d, but WHERE – be\u00a0\u00a0 specific)<\/strong><\/p>\n

            12. What am I communicating by doing this? (independence, supportive,\u00a0\u00a0 rebellious, helpful, frustration, etc.) Is this what I want to\u00a0\u00a0 communicate?<\/strong><\/p>\n

            13. Have I RESEARCHED the market? Or am I guessing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

            14. Will this lead to any temptation? To greed? To lust? OTHER<\/strong><\/p>\n
